Fence Row Drive

This pair of single-family homes was built in the gated community known as The Ridge in Fairfield CT, on property that was once part of the Pepperidge Farm estate.

At first glance, you’d swear this first home began as an 18th or 19th Century farmhouse and has been added onto over the years. But it was designed and built this way to fit the character of the neighborhood and carry on a legacy.

The detail is decidedly traditional New England with the fieldstone foundation and fireplace built using stone from the building site. A peek inside reveals cherry floors, lots of custom cabinetry and five fireplaces. These and many other details were combined to create the look of traditional New England home while affording the homeowner every modern amenity.

The second home is more formal in appearance. Again we used stone from the site for the front and side facades as well as one of the four fireplace. The entry foyer is quite impressive with its honed limestone floor and grand staircase.

This is indeed a luxury home with its quarter-sawn oak library, beautiful cabinetry, well appointed bathrooms and a large kitchen with a double island.
